Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Principal Cyber Database Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test & Evaluation team based out of Melbourne, FL .

As a Cyber Database Engineer, you will be part of a team encompassing the full product lifecycle for a software development and test environment. Success in this role requires strong problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication and collaboration skills, to effectively manage database systems and support the team’s automation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities may include :

• Leveraging your expertise in SQL and Postgres to architect, design, and optimize database systems.
• Being at the forefront of driving automation initiatives, utilizing tools such as Ansible and Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM) to streamline and orchestrate complex database operations.
• Harness the power of scripting languages, specifically PowerShell and Python, to develop robust automation solutions, enhance system efficiency, and automate routine database tasks.

Salary Range : $101,900 - $152,900The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
