Summary :
The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting various departments to meet their purchasing needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Procurement Management : Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best possible terms and quality of goods.
- Inventory Control : Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast needs and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Order Processing : Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to shipments or billing discrepancies.
- Data Analysis : Collect and analyze data to support strategic sourcing decisions and improve procurement processes.
- Compliance : Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and customer service, to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
