Quality Manager

The Heat Treatment Quality Manager will oversee aerospace heat treatment processes to ensure compliance with industry standards such as AS9100, NADCAP, and AMS 2750. This role requires hands-on experience with vacuum heat treating, solution treating, and other thermal processes for aerospace alloys. The manager will lead quality audits, supervise technicians, and drive continuous improvement using tools like FMEA, SPC, and CAPA. A strong understanding in metallurgy and quality systems is essential, along with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Candidates should hold a technical degree and relevant certifications, with leadership experience in a regulated aerospace environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aerospace heat treatment processes and ensure compliance with AS9100, NADCAP, and AMS 2750 standards.
• Lead and manage quality audits and supervise a team of technicians.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using FMEA, SPC, and CAPA tools.
• Prepare for and manage NADCAP heat treat audits and customer quality audits.
• Interpret aerospace part drawings, process specifications, and material certifications.
• Conduct metallurgical laboratory testing and evaluate microstructure techniques.
• Ensure on-time delivery and uphold strict quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve quality objectives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00 / hr.
